At Global Family Travels we believe that the most powerful way to learn is through first- hand experience. Serve

On this trip you will have the opportunity to volunteer hands-on with ongoing conservation efforts, such as installing camera traps, cleaning areas from invasive species, or planting native trees or bushes. Throughout this trip you will be engaging with various Chilean non-profit organizations and NGOs committed to rewilding and conservation, including Legado Chile, the Rewilding Foundation, the Tompkins Conservation, and more. Not only will you be learning about rewilding efforts, you will also be actively participating in them in a variety of ways, such as planting native vegetation, installing camera traps, monitoring local species, and clearing parks of invasive plants.

Immerse

This tour emphasizes authentic cultural and natural experiences to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of the Parks of Patagonia and surrounding areas. Beyond the immersion in nature, you will also experience Chilean and Indigenous cultures through spending a day with an Indigenous group of the Quechalen Aitués; and enjoying a traditional dinner prepared with local ingredients from a chef in Frutillar. Patagonia

Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park is a one-million-acre park located in the southernmost part of Chile's Los Lagos region created by the Tompkins Conservation. The park is known for in vast rainforests that stretch almost entirely to the ocean, a rare natural occurrence, and its protected natural biodiversity.
