Northern Greece is a region of remarkable history, mythology, cultural traditions, and natural beauty. Through conversations with historians, conservationists, artisans, farmers, and local residents, they'll develop a deeper understanding of cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, and the interconnectedness of people and place. These experiences encourage curiosity, cross-cultural understanding, and a broader global perspective.

During the CALLISTO Wildlife Coexistence Field Visit, they'll learn how conservationists partner with local farmers to protect both biodiversity and rural livelihoods in the Pindus Mountains. By supporting family-owned businesses, women's cooperatives, local artisans, and sustainable agricultural producers, students gain firsthand insight into how tourism can strengthen local economies while helping preserve traditions for future generations.
