At Global Family Travels we believe that the most powerful way to learn is through firsthand experience. On this trip, you will have the opportunity to engage with Legado Chile, a NGO committed to rewilding and conservation. This will give you an opportunity to have a hands-on experience of conservation and nature restoration in the field.
This tour emphasizes authentic cultural and natural experiences to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of the Parks of Patagonia and surrounding areas. Beyond the immersion in nature, you will also experience a stay with a local family in the El Callao Valley.
You will also enjoy a dinner at the house of a local chef in the town of Puerto Varas as well as another dinner prepared with local ingredients from a chef in Chiloe. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in cooking preparation for a traditional meal on the island known as Curanto and even make your own beer at a local brewery.
This journey will be more than a vacation, it will truly allow you to connect with nature and learn about Chile and Patagonia in the process.
